Anup Francis Dungdung belongs to the 2003 batch of Indian Audit & Accounts Services. He is presently holding the post of Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit). He has served in various capacities relating to State Departments and Central Ministers at New Delhi, Gangtok (Sikkim), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Rajkot (Gujarat) etc. As Director, he audited Rural & Urban Local Bodies, various departments of State Government like Home, Revenue, Agriculture, Finance etc to name a few. He prepared Finance & Appropriation Accounts for few States and also prepared State Finance Reports.

While auditing Central Ministries, he audited Dept. of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes and Central Board of Indirect Taxes. Along with certification of Union Finance & Appropriation accounts he also prepared the ‘Net proceeds’ under Article 279 of Constitution of India.
